Celebrating the Church’s Liturgy and Sacraments

Holy Mass is celebrated in English at this Mission on Sundays and on pre-
determined days during the week. Please refer the places and time schedule
for Sundays detailed on page 3 and the Liturgical Plan on pages 4-5.
If you have a request for a group/family mass, on a particular day, occasion,
event etc., please contact the priest at your Mass Centre, you are welcome.

The Sacrament of Penance and Confession:
A priest is available to hear confessions on Sundays, one hour before Holy Mass, at the Bürgersaalkirche from 3. pm until 4. pm. You may also request for confession according to your convenience by appointment with a priest.
At the Mission Centre, Confessions will be heard only in the Chapel.

The Sacrament of Baptism for children:
All children of a Catholic parent are advised to be baptized in the Church.
Before the child is baptized, there is an instruction to be given to the parents
and Godparents. Godparents should be a lady and a gent who have been baptized in the Catholic Church. Please contact the priest at your Mass Centre in advance.
In the emergency of death of the child, please request immediately.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion for children
: Registration by 30th of July.
Catechism classes are on Sundays at the Bürgersaalkirche, with a course of instructions and prayers, followed by Holy Mass at the Bürgersaalkirche.

The Sacraments of the Church for Adults
, and from other faiths, etc.
Registration by: 30th of April. Adults who are not yet baptized in the Catholic
Church and who desire to receive this Sacrament are recommended to register for instructions. The course for preparation is a minimum of two years. Catechumens are encouraged to attend Holy Mass with the community. Please refrain from receiving Holy Communion. With and after the approval of the Archbishop, adults may be baptized and confirmed at the Easter Liturgy and thereafter be in full communion with the Catholic Church.
For assistance, please contact the priest at your Mass Centre in person.

The Sacrament of Matrimony:  
There are spiritual instructions a Marriage Preparation Course for those who are to be married and other procedures required. The concerned persons may contact the priest at your Mass Centre in advance to finalize all details.

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick
:
Those who are in danger of death from sickness or old age, and who desire
to receive this sacrament, please arrange to contact the priest at the earliest.

There are no payments to be made to receive the Sacraments of the Church at this Mission.
