Info about Rosenheim
The independent city of Rosenheim is located in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the foothills of the Alps at the confluence of the Inn and Mangfall rivers. It has about 64,000 inhabitants, making it the third largest city in Upper Bavaria.
The center of the city is the Max-Josefs-Platz with many street cafes and stores. The beautiful grounds of the former state horticultural show on the Inn and Mangfall rivers invite visitors to meet and linger. The varied gastronomy as well as the culture and nightlife offer many opportunities to unwind. Taking the train to enjoy winter sports? No problem. Also, the Chiemsee - the Bavarian sea - with its numerous water sports possibilities, can be reached by train in 15 minutes and the state capital Munich can be reached by train in 40 minutes.
